Source:  NYSUT Newswire

This is a special weekend, and Monday is a special day, for working people throughout the United States. Labor Day provides us an opportunity to reflect on the contributions that men and women in the workforce have made to our nation and to their communities.

NYSUT's national affiliates — the American Federation of Teachers and the National Education Association — have provided an array of web resources to help celebrate this important holiday and to use in the classroom as students return to school next week.
