New regulations for teaching assistants (and teachers) who apply for their certification after January 1, 2014 state that these applicants must now complete six hours of training in Harassment, Bullying and Discrimination Prevention and Intervention.

The Level 1 column in the chart on page 4 now includes this new information. This training will help our new teaching assistants know how to effectively handle these issues that are so prevalent in our schools today.
