Jolene DiBrango was endorsed by delegates on Saturday to serve as a teacher-representative on the New York State Teachers’ Retirement System Board. She was first elected to the TRS board in 2014.
President of the 800-member Pittsford District Teachers Association since 2011, DiBrango is a NYSUT Leadership Institute graduate and a vice president and past secretary of the Monroe County Federation of Teachers. The longtime NYSUT RA delegate is also a member of the Coalition of Labor Union Women.
DiBrango will conduct informational workshops, answer retirement questions and advocate on behalf of members in her role on the TRS board.
