school budget vote

Your vote is their voice.

And if you don't vote, they won't be heard. It's just that simple.

Throughout the year, we make our voices heard on politics and policy in any number of ways. We hold rallies. We lobby and write letters. We make phone calls. And so much more. But Tuesday's vote on school budgets is especially important because you are giving voice to all the New York public school students who can't vote themselves.

School budgets are up for approval TUESDAY, MAY 17. Don't forget to vote. And please vote YES!

Vote YES on your local school budget and visit the NYSUT Action Center on Facebook to help us spread the word, because your vote is their voice... and they deserve to be heard!

On Tuesday, May 17, please go to the polls and vote YES on your local school budget! Please make sure that your family, your friends, and your co-workers go to the polls and vote YES! And please share our poster on your own Facebook wall to spread the word across your community and across the state.

A YES vote on your local school budget says that you support education, and it says that you want your community to invest in the resources that students and educators need to make the upcoming school year a successful one!

Vote YES on your local school budget and visit the NYSUT Action Center on Facebook to help us spread the word, because your vote is their voice... and they deserve to be heard!

Your vote matters -- to you and to them!

So don't forget to vote YES!

In solidarity,

Andrew Pallotta
NYSUT Executive Vice President
