Returning to in-person learning must be done safely.

NYSUT supports returning to in-person learning in our schools, but any return must be done safely.

We are advocating for: 

  • Vaccines available for all teachers
  • COVID tests for all teachers, school staff and students
  • Common-sense safety measures such as masks, social distancing, sanitized classrooms and proper hygiene requirements in schools
