As we head into the summer, NYSUT President Melinda Person wishes our members a good and relaxing summer.

We will be keeping up our work on behalf of our members throughout July and August. Look for updates from us from the NEA Representative Assembly, statewide and regional leadership conferences and local events throughout the summer. And as always, we'll also be hard at work supporting public schools, ensuring our professions are respected and advocating for our members' pay and benefits.
Most of all, we thank you for all you do. Your work is valued, appreciated and needed now more than ever. Know that your union has your back now, and we'll be there for you throughout the summer and next school year.
