Students may experience episodes of serious emotional stress and frustration in the school setting, and when they do, chances are they’re doing to take it out on a teacher or student. These episodes may be attributed to many factors, and research shows they’re increasing. However, with the proper training, you can learn how to recognize and defuse these incidents.
Applied Behavior Analysis focuses on students who do not respond to basic prevention through effective classroom management. This course provides teachers and support staff with the information, tools and skills they need to prevent a great deal of antisocial behavior and/or to manage much of this behavior when it arises.
