Women's history

NYSUT celebrates Women's History Month — March — with a free poster highlighting Sandra Feldman, whose career began as a second-grade elementary school teacher in New York City and ended as president of the 1.3 million-member American Federation of Teachers, one of NYSUT's national affiliates.

You can download printable posters at www.nysut.org or order via e-mail at orders@nysutmail.org. Reference Project No. 516/11 and include your name and mailing address.

Online story time

Story Time for Me has released an online children's book library of free multimedia storybooks. All of the books teach morals and values through socially relevant themes. The books are available to download in PDF format. The site is launching a personalized activity book series on April 22, beginning with an Earth Day theme.
