NYSUT is a federation of 1,350 locals that comprise public and private bargaining units for pre-K-12 teachers (788), school-related professionals (665), higher education faculty (79), health care professionals (19), government and library employees (10) and others, including non-profits (7), plus 45 retiree councils.

Your dues support the many programs and services NYSUT provides to negotiate and enforce contracts, to provide professional development and guidance and to advocate on your behalf.
