Cumulatively, members have reported spending between $27,700 – $42,850 since we asked educators to start logging their out-of-pocket spending with us.
"I always buy incidental items — snacks, cereal, special stickers, etc., but I just bought an iPad 2 for my students ... Last year there was talk of a grant to get me one but it never went through," said Siouxzanne Harris of the Arlington TA. She spent $499 for the device.
