The NEA Foundation, an independent, public charity of the National Education Association, one of NYSUT's national affiliates, has awarded more than $8 million in grants to educators and invested millions more in efforts to close the achievement gap.

The foundation blog,, offers several resources to educators, including entries from former grant recipients; Q&As with useful information on applying for grants; written and video instructions on how to complete an application; and application forms. The blog also includes information about the foundation's partnership with The NEA Foundation will match donations NEA members receive for classroom materials.
