Celebrate our nurses

National Nurse's Week is May 6–12. As part of its Campaign for Nursing's Future, Johnson & Johnson offers several freebies related to nurses and promoting nursing as a career. At www.discovernursing.com/resources/free-materials#category=promotional-items, find magnets, brochures, posters, coloring books, book covers and more.

Scholastic has several great resources for nurses and health teachers to educate their students on medicine use and abuse. Scholastic offers posters and assessments on understanding labels, medicine misuse, and medicine measuring tools to educate students on an area that isn't talked about with children enough. The site also offers a free digital flipbook about medicine safety and whiteboard images to support lessons. Visit http://www.scholastic.com/otcliteracy/ for more information.
