Late summer flooding in Louisiana killed at least eight people and damaged or destroyed some 50,000 homes. NYSUT members can show support for their union colleagues affected by the flooding by donating to the NYSUT Disaster Relief Fund.
Send contributions to NYSUT Disaster Relief Fund, 800 Troy- Schenectady Road, Latham, NY 12110. NYSUT will forward your donations to the national effort to assist flood victims.
Donations to the disaster relief fund are used to promote and enhance the welfare of NYSUT members and assist other union members impacted by a natural or man-made disaster.
