The Northeast Area Consumer Price Index for February 2013 was 248.665 — representing a change of 2.0 percent over the index for February 2012.
The New York-Northern New Jersey Area Consumer Price Index for February 2013 was 256.234 — representing a change of 2.4 percent over the index for February 2012.
The March CPI will be available April 16, 2013.
Future projections of the CPI by businesses and economic organizations are found on page 3. CPI increases are projected at 1.9 percent for 2013 and 2.1 percent for 2014.
