The Northeast Area Consumer Price Index for May 2017 was 259.386 — representing a change of 1.7 percent over the index for May 2016.
The New York-Northern New Jersey Area Consumer Price Index for May 2017 was 268.183 — representing a change of 1.8 percent over the index for May 2016.
