NYSUT has released the following statement about NYSUT ELT's Science of Reading program:
Every child in New York deserves access to high-quality literacy instruction — and every educator deserves the tools to deliver it. NYSUT will continue to strengthen its Science of Reading course, working with leading literacy experts and refining it as needed to ensure students get the strong foundation they deserve.
