The union’s annual Representative Assembly was held this year as a special online event Thursday, May 14.

The agenda for the approximately 40-minute meeting was limited to three items:

• A report of the NYSUT Credentials Committee.
• A report by NYSUT President Andy Pallotta outlining the union's path forward and presenting the election procedures for the upcoming special, mail-ballot elections, and
• A candidate forum to allow those candidates who have previously requested such participation, in accordance with the NYSUT 2020 Election Procedures, to speak to the delegates.

All other matters before the RA, including Resolutions, Legislative Program, and Endorsement of Candidate for Retirement Board Seat have been, with the approval of the Board of Directors, referred to the Board for consideration at future meetings.
