National Board Certification

The Albert Shanker grant has exhausted the funds for the 2016-2017 application period. As stated on the webpage:

Application Process
Starting on July 1, 2016, the New York State Education Department will accept applications for the 2016-2017 Albert Shanker Grant program. Applications will continue to be accepted through January 31, 2017 or until all funds are exhausted, whichever is first.

Potential candidates should apply during the next application period (Anticipated to begin on July 1, 2017).

If current candidates purchased a component and then applied for Shanker but were notified funds were unavailable, they will receive explicit instructions from NYSED.
